Welcome to Budore Welsh Cobs;

The Home Page of

Joe Cleland & Sons

.
Budore Welsh Cobs is hailed throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe for breeding and rearing champion Welsh Cob ponies. The champion horses are bred by brothers David and James Cleland and their father Joseph, at their home at Budore Farm, near Dundrod in Northern Ireland.

For over 20 years now, Joe Cleland & Sons have showed and competed their Horses in numerous shows in the UK and Ireland.

And today, they continue to successfully lead in the field in Welsh Cobs.
.
Budore Stud currently has 11 stallions, 15 brood mares and a similar number of young stock. It has produced the Supreme Show Champion stallions Rosehall Lord Norman and Maestro who between them have won at least 25 supreme championships and 20 reserve championships.
.
During 2007, James Cleland also had success in the Hackney classes at both the Balmoral and Portadown shows with Glenshane Dandy.
